Forte Dei Marmi
Miami Beach, FL
Forte dei Marmi is an upscale Italian restaurant located on Miami Beach featuring locally-sourced organic produce, farm-raised meats, and wild-caught seafood. The meticulously renovated 1938 Mediterranean-revival building offers fine dining with a focus on slow food culture and organic wine and cocktail programs.
About
Forte dei Marmi freshly procures and skillfully prepares the highest quality local organic produce, farm-raised prime meats, and wild-caught seafood and fish. Under the direction of Andrea Reitano and Chef Fabrizio Piga, alongside son Alessandro, the restaurant brings together the sophisticated simplicity of Italian fine dining with slow food culture. The wine and cocktail program focuses on organic and biodynamic offerings. Located on the southern tip of Miami Beach, the restaurant's 1938 Mediterranean-revival building was meticulously renovated by local architect Chad Oppenheim. The contemporary aesthetic draws inspiration from the seaside resort Forte dei Marmi in northern Tuscany's Lucca province. Interiors were designed collaboratively by Oppenheim and Milan-based designer Henry Timi, creating an atmosphere of sophisticated simplicity with authentic materials. Fragrant gardens and intimate landscapes designed by Enzo Enea enhance the connection to the Italian seaside resort.
