About
The Zach Bartholomew Trio is one of the most promising up-and-coming jazz groups in North Florida. Their sound draws from the deep and rich tradition of swinging, soulful, straight-ahead jazz. Each member contributes unique experiences, musical tastes, and personality to the group's collective sound. Pianist Zach Bartholomew leads the trio with passion and energy, while bassist Brandon Robertson provides a strong, deep tone and drummer Miles Bozeman contributes tastefully rhythmic and supportive playing. All three members studied jazz at Florida State University's College of Music and have worked with top jazz educators in the Southeast. The trio performs standards from the Great American Songbook, blues, ballads, jazz standards, swing, pop, and original compositions. They have extensive experience performing at clubs, restaurants, weddings, private events, and music festivals throughout Tallahassee and central Florida since spring 2009.
